Urgently looking for AM - Category Buyer, Indirect-Purchase FMCG (4-7 years) for Mumbai Location

Job Description:

- Working with the Marketing & Merchandising team to procure Promotional items

- Procurement of Indirect services like MICE, Hotels, travel, Stationary, Car rentals, courier services, manpower contracts etc

- Identify and secure sources of goods or services procurement that are specific to the category

- Check that the category purchasing complies with the purchasing process defined in the Group's regulations

- Watch that the suppliers fulfill the criteria defined in agreement with the Group

- Design, schedule and coordinate the evaluation of the suppliers performance

- Keep a check on deadlines and impacts on cost of delayed decisions

- Investigate and transmit data for purchasing reporting

Desired Skills and Experience :

- Minimum 4 - 7 years of relevant experience Indirect-Purchase. (preferably having exposure to FMCG / Cosmetic)

- Thorough knowledge on purchase process. Aggressive Negotiation skills, understanding of Contracting Terms, worked on SAP/ERP will be preferred.

- Must be able to develop strategic vision and purpose, set priorities, develop KPI's and be able to drive for results

- Should have an art of influencing people, self motivated and should have good communication skills.

Education: Master's in Business Administration / Engineering background/ Certified Purchase Manager/CPP will be an added plus

Knowledge :

- Good Communication skill

- Good business network
