Role: Business Development Manager for the Conference Division of INDEBO
Responsibilities: Generation of Meetings, Conference and Events business for INDEBO
Market Research
- Conduct extensive market research to assess the potential of MC&E in the Indian Subcontinent
- Analyse cyclic events that take place in the Indian Subcontinent and their derivatives as the client desires
- Design and implement the sales strategy by communicating with various potential clients and identify various need gaps
- Collate information from all available resources related to clients for MC&E
- Ensuring that all business opportunities are captured and explored
Sales
- Plan and manage all sales visits to companies of a particular sector
- Represent the company at all international trade fairs related to MC&E
- Remain proactive and responsive to prospective clients
- Shall be accountable for all client proposals, contracts, budgets and any further documentation
- Ensuring that all business opportunities are captured and explored
Branding
- Develop online and physical marketing collateral to be presented to the clients
- Conduct post-event evaluations in order to determine how future events could be improved
Competencies required
- Demonstrates high level communication skills (includes interpersonal, negotiation, influencing, presentation and representation) with particular ability to articulate concepts/ideas in English and Hindi.
- Ability to monitor and drive own performance including: implementation of initiatives/strategies and action plans to ensure successful achievement of agreed outcomes.
- Identification of opportunities within the market and your ability to optimise those opportunities
- 1-2 years of experience preferably in hospitality and MC&E industry
- Skills with softwares like Photoshop, Corel Draw and iWork will be appreciated
Compensation: An annual salary of Rs. 6 lacs.
