Advanced analytics (cluster techniques and predictive modeling) is a focus within the banking industry (and other industries as well) and is expected to be a differentiator of successful banks for the foreseeable future.

As such, this position’s work is a key component of on-going initiatives and will have an influence on the future direction of the bank.

More generally, the incumbent’s model outputs have a direct effect on the bank’s income (e.g., delinquency predictions that drive approvals and line management; response models that drive originations, etc.)
