We’re looking for the right thought leaders in Altisource Division who are smart, energetic, and will guide the development of our next-generation product suite. Our current product portfolio is tuned to help distressed borrowers stay in their homes while also generating maximum returns to our investors, and we’re the best in the business. Our next-generation SaaS suite will generalize those capabilities to deliver value across a wide range of industries. It’s a big product bite that’s going to challenge the extraordinary team of product innovators that we’re building.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the product engineering, quality assurance and product support organizations.

- Responsible for delivering high-quality software products, on-time and within budget.

- Work with the CTO team to develop a long-term product plan for Altisource® products and manage the release planning cycles for all products.

- Responsible for managing the staffing requirements and skill sets for each product organization, assuring that each team is staffed with sufficient skilled resources and meeting product deliverables.

- Responsible for developing and managing a skills escalation and promotion path for the product engineering organization.

- Responsible for implementing tools and processes to optimize product engineering throughput and quality.

- Ability to work with multiple levels in the organization, and in a global setting

- Ensuring that key milestones are met and that solutions delivered are of the highest quality possible

- Delivery on project timelines, internal and external SLAs with emphasis on turn times and error free work product

- Maintain highest level of internal / external customer satisfaction

- Ensure migration of existing legacy application to the Java platform ensuring a stable production environment.

- Ensure controlled releases to production, with amongst other measures, stringent code reviews from standards and performance perspectives. Use metrics demonstrate success.

- Ensure fit of personnel to tasks.

- Deal decisively with under performing personnel.

- Understand all REAL products with their interrelationships and collective relevance to business and ensure appropriate availability and stability to the Business.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering required. MBA preferred

- 18+ years of software development experience, with 10+ years experience in a managerial capacity

- Knowledge of Process Management

- Professional experience with the one or more of the following interactive languages and technologies is required - JAVA, J2EE, Oracle, Microsoft Technologies, Dot Net

- Working knowledge of the residential mortgage industry is an added advantage
