Roles and Responsibilities :  - Member of the Mortgage Services Finance team.  - Accurate financial transaction initiation and accounting for Mortgage Services (MS) segment as per US GAAP.  - Preparation of monthly closing entries and accruals for MS and Finalization of accounts, preparation and review of Financial Statements.  - Establish proper records, approvals, documentation and audit trails for all transactions.  - Variance analysis, trend and commentaries on the Business results.  - Preparation of audit schedules and interfacing with the auditors during the financial audit process.  - Facilitate the internal audit/SOX cycles by providing information and support.  - Reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts.  - Support internal customers by providing accurate information in a timely manner.  Key Result Areas :  - Ensure timely and accurate accounting and compilation of accounts, records and statements.  - Contribute effectively to the monthly close process by completing tasks within deadlines.  - Provide timely information, reports, statements and analysis to management and internal and external auditors.  - Ensure completion of balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations.  - Establish proper records, approvals, documentation and audit trails for all transactions.  - Help in improving processes and automation  Qualifications :  - Qualified CA/ CWA or CPA with 4-8 years post qualification experience.  - Hands on experience in financial accounting  - Big 4 audit experience preferred.  - Expertise in MS office and worked on Accounting packages/ ERP.  - Smart with good interpersonal and communication skills.  - Solid conceptual, problem solving and analytical skills; readily willing to perform detailed analysis as needed.  - Should possess high energy level, be a self-starter, a good team player, self-motivated and driven to meet the everchanging demands of a dynamic organization
