Profile Overview:   This role will be based in India and will be responsible for coordinating all of the company legal work in India and the Philippines. This role is focused primarily on legal advisory and drafting of legal documents in relation to the administrative functions of the company, ensuring compliance with local law, advising on employment matters and company secretarial duties.   These functions include but are not limited to Human Resources, Finance, Real Estate and Facilities and Vendor Management. This position will be a member of senior management, providing leadership in the operations in India, will work closely with the General Counsel based in Luxembourg and will have exposure to interact with key stakeholders in the company.  Roles & Responsibilities :   - Monitoring corporate governance practices for the Company in its India and Philippines locations;  - Providing legal counsel to the Human Resources, Finance, Facilities and Vendor Management teams as needed;  - Generally assisting with labor law matters, including employee benefits, wage and hour law compliance, employment litigation etc.;  - Serving as legal contact for all matters pertaining to State and Country laws and regulations applicable to the business and determine optimal compliance program to ensure compliance with such regulations;  - Providing hands-on negotiation, drafting and administration of contracts, including business process outsourcing, finance and commercial contracts  - Managing relationships with outside legal counsel and other vendors located in India and the Philippines.  Job requirement :   - LLB degree with minimum of 6 years experience, added advantage from within the IT and ITES sector   - Dexterous in reviewing and drafting documents which have a legal or risk/ opportunity impact to the organizations in India and Philippines  - Must have experience in Legal Research and analysis   - Candidate must have inductive verbal and written communication skills Proficient in MS Office   - Travelling as per requirements including within the countries included in the portfolio   - Willingness to be hands-on and ability to prioritize under pressure to complete the tasks in hand   - Handling external counsel including   - Administrative tasks related to area of responsibility
