Alpha Enterprises - Manager - Accounts & Finance - CA (5-10 yrs)
We are an established Mumbai based chemicals trading, manufacturing and processing business with corporate treasury/investment operations.
This pertains to Accounts & Finance manager. The role is full time and will report directly to VP (Finance) and Managing Director, and will assist in supervising 3-4 accounts personnel.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Tax and compliances
- Monitor adherence to statutory payments, filings and other compliances
- Intervene and troubleshoot when necessary
- Coordinate with external advisors, direct/indirect tax authorities, etc.
- Facilitate statutory, tax and internal audits
- Assist in advance IT computation, annual IT return filing, and follow up on assessment and refunds
Investments & monitoring:
- Prepare internal MIS reports on state of compliances, investment portfolio, cashflows, etc
- Assist in sourcing & identification of investment opportunities and deployment of excess funds
- Review contribution agreements, term sheets, other agreements w.r.t. investment proposals and provide inputs
- Monitor investments and cashflows thereof
- Monitor capital gains and taxation situation
Desired skill set:
- Strong practical knowledge of IT Act and Companies Act
- Practical knowledge of direct and indirect tax laws
- 5-10 years Experience in filing IT returns & liasing with department upto appeals stage
- Experience in companies with substantial investment activities
- Qualifications: Chartered Accountant
- Strong Excel and Tally skills
