Alpha Enterprises - Advisor - Accounts & Finance - CA - Part Time Role (20-30 yrs)
We are an established Mumbai based chemicals trading, manufacturing and processing business with in house treasury/investment operations.
This pertains to Accounts & Finance manager.
- The role can be on a part time retainership basis as mutually agreed and will report directly to VP (Finance) and Managing Director, and will assist in supervising 3-4 accounts personnel.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Tax and compliance
- Monitor adherence to statutory payments, filings and other compliances
- Intervene and troubleshoot when necessary
- Coordinate with external advisors, direct/indirect tax authorities, etc.
- Monitor statutory, tax and internal audits
- Provide inputs on advance IT computation, annual IT return filing, and follow up on assessment and refunds
Investments & monitoring:
- Review contribution agreements, term sheets, other agreements w.r.t. investment proposals and provide inputs
- Monitor capital gains and taxation situation
Desired skill set:
- Strong practical knowledge of IT Act and Companies Act
- Practical knowledge of indirect tax laws
- Experience in filing returns & liasing with department upto appeals stage
- Experience in companies with substantial investment activities
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (practicing/non practicing)
- Strong Excel and Tally skills
