Job Description

Role Purpose:

Manage the IT operations in the organization (includes Network, Hardware & Application Support, IT budgeting and Database Management)- Manages data disaster recovery plans, application support and other related IT activities- Responsible for the general health of the Database Server, Application Server and Web Server for the organization

Key Accountabilities :

- Create, Manage and implement the IT Operational strategy for the organization

- Maintains IT Database, Web servers, application servers for the organization

- Creates, maintains and implements IT Disaster Recovery Plan for the organization

- Create, Manage and maintain IT Budgets and product/application support

- Liaise with IT Vendors and represent ALJTPC/ALJEAC at appropriate forums

Key Activities :

- To maintain web servers, application servers, Database Servers, WAN, LAN and ERP solutions on a daily basis

- To create data backups for the servers

- To install upgrades on IT products as and when required

- To set IT standards by assisting in policies and procedure creations for the organizations

- To maintain Oracle Database servers end to end on a daily basis covering maintaining, upgrading and installing clients and data as per the standards

- To maintain WEB servers, Application Servers end to end on a daily basis covering maintaining, upgrading and installing clients and data as per the standards

- To provide day to day support for all locations within the kingdom for IT operations

- To create, maintain and update product prices, discounts as per the business requirements

- To create, maintain and update customer codes as per the business requirements

- To create, maintain and update stock management system as per the business requirements

- To create, maintain and update employee database

- To provide IT support to the new associates by way of emp no, email ID, database, internet connection, ALJ login LAPTOPs/DESKTOPs and other things as per SOP with HR and other departments

- To generate, monitor and circulate MIS on functional performance to the senior management team on a weekly/monthly or any other time period agreed upon

- To plan, coordinate and negotiate in IT purchases relating WAN, LAN, IT Infrastructure, Systems Solutions, Application Support, Communication Hardware and other Server applications

- To liaise with external agencies like STC and other agencies for IT related issues

Skills :

- Comprehensive knowledge Web Applications, Database management, IT support, Networking and Communication Hardware

- Market Analysis for new products and customer service

- knowledge of Retail and Wholesale business and

- Financial Statement understanding

Education :

Bachelor’s Degree in IT/ Electronics/ Software Engineering
