Job Description:  - Directs and manages the financial function, providing leadership, encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve high performance and staff pride in performance and contribution.  - Develops and gains agreement to and implement strategies and plans for the function which align with and contributes to the delivery of the company's business strategies.  - Exercise control, implements and seeks continued improvement to comprehensive and effective systems of financial control fully utilizing IT system capabilities to facilitate the handling of operations and support activities and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and international accounting standards and governance.  - Develops policies and manages/controls annual audits and tax exposure.  - Directs the preparation of financial accounts, budgets and financial plans for approval and distribution to all functions in the company. Monitors performance, reviews and reports to the Director & MD on status and progress.  - Directs the treasury function in delivering effective liquidity to meet strategic objectives and financial obligations, cash management services, risk management in line with strategy and risk appetite, insurance coverage, management of the Operating Fund and financial investments, advice and policy direction on commodity sales, forward selling and hedging.  - Provides high level direction to the development and implementation of company wide strategies and systems for the management, operations and maintenance of effective information technology systems and related infrastructure at the Company and the Affiliated Companies.   - Includes ensuring that effective security exists for all data handled/stored on the system, appropriate policies and procedures are implemented and user requirements are identified and put in place.  Skills  - Master's degree in finance, business administration or relevant field ( Accounting, Finance or Business)  - 10-15 years of experience in the field of finance, accounting, cost control and administration with a minimum of 5 years experience in the Wholesales, Retail and Distribution industry  - Professional certification (i.e. CPA (preferred), CFA, CMA, etc.)
