Responsibility

Play the role of Senior Architect core in Advanced Analytics and Big Data technologies

Analyze high level requirements from Customers, create advanced technical solution approaches, architectures in Big Data and Analytics

Provide consulting for Technology architecture, evaluation and selection of platforms, technologies and tools best fit for Customer's needs

Lead the technology initiatives, R&D on niche and emerging technology platforms

Responsible for architecting and implementing of the projects / solutions and the end to end technical delivery of the engagements

Actively involve in creating industry solutions and generalized technical solutions, design frameworks and reference architectures

Work as an effective team player, provide training and support to peer and junior team members in a collaborative manner in the specific areas of specialization

Involve in development of Design guidelines and Best practices across various Big Data and analytics platforms, tools and technologies

Experience

8+ years of experience in technology consulting, solution architecture and implementation of Data and Analytics solutions with 3+ years of hands on working experience in Big Data and Advanced Analytics technologies

Required skills

Deep understanding of the Big Data Analytics concepts and technology ecosystem

Experience in architected and building solutions on Big Data Analytics technologies - Hadoop, NoSQL, Spark, Machine learning

Experience in analysis, design and implementation of advanced analytics solutions in various industry use case scenarios for predictive and prescriptive analytics

Experience in architecture and implementation of large scale Data Integration and complex data processing in Big Data platforms

Working Experience in Hadoop platforms, HBASE, MongoDB, Cassandra, Storm and in-memory databases

Expertise and working experience in R, Python, Mahout or other statistical modeling, Machine Learning packages/tools

Working knowledge of Apache Spark, Spark SQL

Expertise in Java/J2EE, JavaScript, XML, JSON and related areas

Expertise in RDBMS platforms, SQL programming and Data modeling,

Good experience in Unix/Linux platforms in a cluster environment and Cloud platforms

Exposure to Security architecture and implementation in Big Data ecosystem Demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills, particularly those that apply to Big Data analytics scenarios

Ability to contribute to multiple projects/demands simultaneously and work in a fast paced, collaborative and dynamic environment

Strong aptitude, problem solving skills, and technical presentation skills

Desirable skills :

Hands on experience with programming in Python, Scala

Experience in implementing NLP, Text analytics based solutions

Knowledge of any BI/Visualization platforms like Microstrategy, Qlikview, Tableau

Knowledge of any of the MPP databases like Netezza, Teradata, Aster Data, Greenplum, Vertica
