Job Title : Manager - Business Planning & Analysis (Reporting and Analytics)

Job Purpose : Manages Business Planning and Analysis - Reporting and Consolidation vertical would be responsible for preparing forecasts and budgets, tracking budget deviations and performance based on KPIs, supporting in business decision making by relevant analytics for several Business Units within a country

Major Accountabilities :

- Co-ordinate with functions to drive Budgeting and forecasting process

- Provide Key data analytics and Variance with Targets/Forecast and performance of KPIs to the management & key stake holders on a regular basis

- Setting up of process and preparation of monthly dashboard for local management and regional management

- Where requested, assist in designing business processes that are in line with internal control requirements

- Assist in for Business Process compliance, compliance with local and US standards per policies, interim audits and documentation

- Supports business units in decision making relating to business proposals, Pricing, Schemes and with relevant analytics

- Analyses Early Warning and Risks & Opportunities BU specific proactively

- Ensures alignment with the accounting principles of Novartis

- Make appropriate submissions in central MIS systems / provide information to various stakeholders (local and central BPA office) as per timelines

- Responsible for adverse event and product complaint handling related activities at a local level including the collection, intake and forwarding the information to the Local Vigilance Representative).

Key Performance Indicators :

- Ensure completeness, timeliness, accuracy and integrity of business information to support decision making

- Take Responsibility & Accountability of timely readiness of management reports, key data analytics & any other information required to meet reporting requirements

- Timely & Accurate financial reporting - manage relationship with Novartis BU and Central BPA to meet reporting requirements
