Alcon - Brand Manager (4-8 yrs)
- Responsible for creating & implementation of strategies for given product portfolio within agreed framework with the Group Brand Manager and Stakeholders
- Plan, coordinate and implement activities directed towards the target groups: ophthalmologists & staff in private clinics, hospitals, Key accounts & at Centers of Excellence hospitals throughout India.
- Create, propose and implement key brand promotional projects/campaign (e.g. mailing drives, advertising/promotional campaigns, briefing documents for sales force representatives, etc.) with GBM approval.
- Responsible for successful launch of new products & all future upgrades/improvements within the existing product portfolio.
- Product development & management by identifying & working closely to develop new KOLs.
- Develop Plan proposals and implementation of communication strategy that increases sales in given segment, market shares in units and values
- Understand customer insights about Refractive market & competitive activities through field visits, customer meetings and close coordination with sales force.
- Recommend promotional objectives, target accounts, segmentation of customers and target segment specific activities in order to maximize sales force efficiency in translating the product strategy to the market.
- Help achieve the market share objectives and sales mix for the brand portfolio.
- Provide feedback to Marketing Leadership and maintain regular communication and support with the sales team, in order to achieve best fit between India/ Asia/global strategy and local marketing / sales tactics (Eg: Sampling, Equipment demo, Centre visits etc) opportunities and actions.
- Responsible for ensuring that the inventory levels are optimally managed at regular intervals in conjunction with S & OP.
- Periodical and timely reporting of Marketing activities, results, opportunities & exposures to marketing leadership.
- Working with the regulatory/legal to ensure that promotional materials are as per the local laws/regulations
- Working within the framework of all compliance policies( AP3, FCPA, Anti bribery etc)
- Involvement in market research for short & long term market analysis for finding out the opportunities & gaps with competitors.
- Analyze reports on distribution of samples & promo materials, to ensure compliance as per marketing plan.
- Involvement in pricing, schemes & profitability of the respective brands.
- Responsible for adverse event and product complaint handling related activities at a local level including the collection, intake and forwarding the information to the Local Vigilance Representative.
- Adherence to all corporate compliance guidelines & corporate programs by self and team
