Job Specification :&nbsp; Unique Job Role (UJR): Head - Supply Chain Planning &amp; Operations&nbsp; Reporting to (Position): Head Operations Business Unit: Reliance B2B Business&nbsp; Role Purpose: SCM Planning and Operations Job Location : Bangalore Functional Competencies: SCM Planning, Warehouse &amp; Transportation Operations, Inventory Management, Process Excellence Key Responsibilities: - Translate Business AOP to SCM Plan detailing the requirement of warehouse space, cross-dock centres, transport hubs, logistics network, etc. - Collaborate with Central supply chain organization to translate the requirement into action and effectively Program Manage the operationalization of new warehouses, CDCs, Hubs, etc. - Defining the logistics network in collaboration with Transportation Planning Team that will deliver the best possible SLAs and lowest costs - Work closely with Process Design team to define and implement efficient supply chain processes for the warehouse, CDC and transportation (first-mile to last-mile) - Day-to-Day collaboration with Warehouse/ CDC/ Transportation Operations teams to ensure implementation of processes, compliances, and SLA performance across all aspects of Supply Chain - Developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs), monitoring metrics and control systems for maintaining the service and quality standards - Conceptualising and implementing process improvements to automate and streamline operations and optimise resource utilisation - Driving operational excellence and adherence to the standard operating procedures - Ensuring continuous interaction with cross-functional teams to ensure all issues/ disputes are addressed timely as per defined SLAs - Periodic review and re-assessment of Supply Chain Plan wrt. Inventory turnover, WH space, Transportation Hubs, etc. and proactively take actions to address the needs of expansion/ scale/ peak requirement - Periodic reviews with Warehouse/ CDC/ Transportation Operations teams to monitor performance and actions plans for improvement - Monitoring supply chain costs closely and have control measures to maintain the costs below the budgets - Monitor industry market trends to understand innovations in Supply Chain environment for best-in-class implementations Educational Qualifications : MBA (preferably in Supply Chain Management from Premium Institute) Years of Experience (minimum &amp; maximum) - 6-10 years of experience in Supply Chain Management - Planning &amp; Operations Generic Competency :&nbsp; Strategic Thinking, Business Acumen, Budget management, Operational Efficiency, Stakeholder Management
