Purpose of the Job:  - The Marketing department at airtel works very closely with the Sales Team to ensure optimum mix of acquisition across different product lines at the zone level.   - As Telemedia Head, you would be actively involved in create and deploying programs to drive new customer acquisitions as well as improve retention and usage among the existing customers.  Deliverables:  - You would use your creativity and business acumen in devising & launching products so as to increase the number of customer using our products.  - You would be responsible for in conceptualizing, developing and implementing the various trade/channel schemes along with distribution team.  - You would have to use your business understanding so as to manage the quality of acquisitions   - You should suggest innovative and creative methods to ensure there are segment wise gross ads on a monthly basis.  - You would be responsible for identifying and monitoring new network deployment   Major Challenges:  - People Management: Coordinating and managing cross functional teams, for effective launch of products and daily business objectives.  - Interpersonal Skills  - Process Management: Managing the process for new acquisition and developing schemes for existing customers  - Market information: Developing mechanisms for receiving correct and timely information of competitor products  - Acquisition Cost: Ensuring the cost per acquisition is well within the budget  Educational level:  - A recognized postgraduate degree in management with specialization in marketing (tier I/II preferably)  Working experience:  - At least 8+ years of work experience out of which a minimum of 5 years are in Telecom Industry in similar field.
