Infra Procurement (SCM) - Manager  Purpose of Job :  - To design and ensure compliance to purchase policies and processes for following domains in order to minimize cost and maximize value proposition of each purchased item.  - Infrastructure - Real Estate, Data Centre, MSC Projects  - Energy services  - Global Rate Contracts - Infra Products - OFC, AC, UPS, PAC, Power plant, Cables etc  Key Deliverables :   - Drive standardization of Infra Capex & Opex related purchase procedures and guidelines to ensure consistency in procurement and sourcing practices across businesses and geographies.  - Build parameters to ensure purchase of quality Infra Capex & Opex related materials / items by building norms and quality parameters for various Infra Capex & Opex related purchases  Major Challenges :  - Keep constant track of new infrastructure materials and systems available in the market to ensure purchase and provision of high quality materials at low costs.  - Drive standardization across locations in the absence of single vendors for pan-India Infra CAPEX & Opex purchases and maintain parallel and compliant systems.  - Monitor and manage risks in making large-scale Infra CAPEX & OPEX purchases while also driving spend optimization.  - Constantly evaluate market benchmarks from related industries.  - Build smarter purchase mechanisms.  - Micro-Costing & Mark to Market on Infra Cost Driving Items   Key Requirements :  - Bachelor Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering   - Must have at least 10+ years of Project experience in Infra Projects & 5 - 8 years in sourcing & Contract management  - Customer service orientation
