Purpose of the Job   The marketing team at airtel is responsible for creating a complete marketing experience that helps maximize revenue growth and profitability. The team collaborates to conceptualize, develop and deploy products, services and platforms to enhance business performance. This means, you ensure that sound marketing decisions are made around product lifecycle and form future strategies to build a loyal consumer base. You drive a fast paced, result oriented team and are an integral part in managing a high growth portfolio.  Deliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities) :  In the telecom market, Bharti Airtel Limited (BAL) is constantly striving to maintain leadership in the hyper-competitive, dynamic and fast-paced environment. We execute our strategies brilliantly and ultimately attract and engage consumers for a long-term stay with us.  1) You leverage your entrepreneurial drive to achieve overall gross revenues of the circle in all key business streams and deliver RMS (revenue market share) and CMS (customer market share)growth. In addition, you work in alignment with changing market/ customer needs to retain the large customer base at the circle level.  2) Your business acumen combined with your analytical abilities will help manage the products/services through its life cycle as well as track and report their performance. You manage churn and drive retention measures to enhance customer experience and ensure increased contribution to revenues for all LOBs (mobile, data, B2B (business to business) solutions, landline and broadband businesses).  3) With your strategic direction, the circle will identify and incubate market innovations (product, availability, visibility) that complement the aggressive network build-up and create significant competitive edge for airtel. With the voice market saturating, you drive strategies for other products and identify new opportunities to get an improved grip of the market.  4) You build collaborative relationships that facilitate quick decision making. You understand the details to execute - go to market strategies for new product offerings and enhance data growth through 2G/3G utilization. All strategies and plans are in sync with brand guidelines, customer segmentation, market research and consumer insight data.  5) You work as part of a highly engaged team and bring your creativity to grow and transform the business. You will identify launch and drive new products/ services like m-commerce, m-health, B2B solutions, etc.  Key challenges will be around:  1) Sustaining leadership in a hyper-competitive market.  2) Capitalize on the big data opportunity and grow the revenues exponentially  3) Highly regulated environment impedes innovation & creativity.  4) Young & dynamic industry lacks existing solutions.
