Purpose of the Job  1. Procurement of Global Bandwidth across data & voice segments with Backhaul, IP Ports, VSAT & Local loops for Bharti Airtel Ltd. and to implement best SCM practices including Commercial Modeling, Competitive bench marking & target pricing.  2. To manage RFPs, Bidding, Negotiations, Contracting and SCM Governance.  3. To drive the Opex cost reduction to meet or beat the AOP/ Budgets.  Deliverables:  1. Market knowledge of global carrier capacity/availability, negotiate/position Airtel to obtain ownership economics at global levels.  2. Understanding of bandwidth segmentation and the key procurement methodologies (IRU/Lease/Dark fiber).  3. Identification and development of key players in the fiber segment.  4. Conduct RFIs/RFPs/Reverse Auctions to determine the right supplier and ensure the best overall value is obtained  5. Partner assurance including identification, registration, evaluation, ratings and communication. Cost analysis & Innovation. Cost Optimization and innovation through continuous identification of Partners and alternate strategy.  6. Process Compliance and periodic review for alignment with Business need. MIS and TAT implementation. Proper Documentation supporting the transactions as per laid down processes.  7. Ensure strategies and subsequent procurement are done in accordance with supply chain policy  Major Challenges :  1. Ensure Procurement on right Quality, Cost and Delivery Parameters.  2. Efficient Sourcing and effective Procurement as per agreed TAT aligned with business goals  3. Statutory Compliance, MIS and reporting.  4. Working with Global teams internal & external.  Educational Level  MBA specialization in Supply Chain from Premier B Schools, pref batch (2013-2015)  Working Experience  1-4 Yrs. In Supply Chain Management / Commercial Dept with experience in Bandwidth/IT Services/ Project Procurement Business shall be an added advantage.
