TITLE- GENERAL MANAGER

AIG Business Solution is looking for a General Manager for our Gurgaon Office.

Location : Gurgaon

Reports to : Director

Shift : PST, Night, 8:30pm - 5:30am (5 days)

Salary : Best in the industry (salary and benefits will be discussed only in f2f meeting)

JOB SUMMARY:

The general manager will direct and coordinate activities of one or more departments, such as HR, Admin, Recruitment, Accounts, IT or a major division of the business organization and aids chief administrative officers in formulating and administering organization policies by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate managers.

Preference - Candidate from ITES industry with good IT Solution knowledge would be preferred for this job. US support staff management experience in a US BPO or KPO would be an additional advantage.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Primary responsibilities

- Set tools and objectives for support departments (HR, Admin, Recruitment, Accounts & IT).

- Develop budgets and ensure all support departments adhere to it.

- Participate in developing policies and procedures for support departments.

- Manage/Supervise staff.

- Handle employee relations.

- Attend and preside over meetings.

- Clearly communicate goals to department heads.

- Measure the success of each department.

- Supervise Managers to create and manage support staff Sops & KRAs.

- Generate and present reports on departmental goals.

- Motivate and encourage employees.

- Ensure inventory is stocked and consistently replenished.

- Promote company's mission and values.

Supervisory Responsibility

This role manages and directs staff management in Admin, Recruitment, Accounts and human resources. The role is responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of direct reports and for carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree or equivalent with Min. 15 years in Administration of support staff (HR, ADMIN, RECRUITMENT, IT, ACCOUNTS) in any US MNC.

SKILLS:

Leadership Skills: You will have to keep your employees motivated, resolve conflicts and make hard decisions for your employees.

Time Management: You will be working with support staff and management. Time management is essential to make sure everything gets done.

Math and Budgeting: General managers are expected to create, keep and maintain a budget, as well as make projections based on previous expenditures. You will need to be confident in using math skills to make sure you know where your company's money is going.

Analytical Skills: You will be in charge of overseeing the hiring of new employees, and being a good judge of character will help ensure that you hire the right people to maintain an efficient and motivated team. You will also need analytical skills to be able to solve problems that may come up during a typical work day.

Decision-Making Skills: The buck stops with you. Whether it is dealing with employees, customers, top executives or vendors, you will have to make decisions that affect the company. Having the ability to make hard and fast decisions is crucial to your success.

Speaking and Writing: General managers do a lot of communicating. This might be in negotiations with contractors, in front of a group of employees, or in a meeting with other management. You might be called upon to write reports and recommendations. Great verbal communications and writing skills are required in this job.
