Zonal Sales Head

Job role and responsibility :

- This individual is responsible to develop and execute state level operational strategies to help deeper penetration of the AgroStar brand

- This individual will use knowledge acquired from past field experience in determining on ground marketing and farmer connect activities to increase the count of missed calls coming on the AgroStar platform

- This individual will work closely with the procurement and Agronomy team to develop a seasonal sales strategy based on crop /location/brand preferences of a particular geography.

- This individual will work closely with the management and finance team to develop state specific seasonal targets and then breaking that further into district and zonal targets.

- The individual will then work with the marketing team to develop ATL/BTL activates to help achieve sales targets.

- It will be the responsibility of this individual to mentor and guide the field teams in their day to day operations.

- It will be responsibility of this individual to derive maximum value from the field teams.

- This individual will develop field farmer meeting and on ground marketing strategies which will be executed by the field teams

- This individual will be ultimately responsible to solve farmer complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner.

- This individual will ensure adoption and use of various technology tools developed for the field teams like the CropIn app and the AgroStar mobile app

- This individual will work closely with vendor counterparts and Sr. field officers of channel partner companies to maximize on business opportunities.

- This person would be responsible for increasing sales revenue, achieving state specific targets and developing new territories to increase sales.

- Strategies on building filed operation activities with the help of right marketing tools.

- Communicate value of products/technologies/technology to farmers and other stakeholders to create demand from farmers. Develop a key sales strategy with long-term business plans

- Conducting opportunity analysis by keeping abreast of market trends and handling sales activities to face counter-competition; collecting valuable data about competitors and sufficient supply of the products to meet consumer demand.

- Charting out marketing strategies and enhancing business volume as per profitability norms

- Highly focused on high profitable products to enhance the profitability of the organization

- Hire, Develop and retain the right talent in the sales team and motivate them to achieve the overall company growth objective.

- Looked after accounts / cash-flows / receivables, i.e. credit control management

- Setting territory targets in consultation with the respective State Heads/Managers based on the Regional Sales Plan. Also Operational planning for the way in which the sales targets can be achieved in their respective territory. These plans have to be in sync with the regional plans as discussed with the State Heads/Managers
