AgroStar - Head - Sales (12-15 yrs)
Job Summary: This position is responsible to Plan, Drive and Achieve sales revenue through execution of Market Development, Market research, Brand Building, Technology & Promotion activities.
Job Description:
- Drive Plans to achieve budgeted volumes and revenues and drive resource and expenses allocations to maximize profitability of the Region.
- Leading a 15-30 person sales/service team to achieve the sales targets efficiently.
- Define sales target, track performance, and revise strategy to deliver on goals.
- Develop processes, forms, analytics and MIS etc. and ensure it is followed up by everyone across the territory.
- Field demonstration of current products, other promotional activity, tracking resultant sales.
- Driving sales numbers & profitability.
- Develop and execute a data driven sales plan for the territory by tracking all Sales & marketing initiatives.
- Monitor day to day operations of the regional Sales team.
- Devise strategy based on ground level feedback from customers (farmers), dealers and also update management.
- Ensure emplacement in various governmental agencies like NGOs, India Post.
- Gather competitor feedback on products, service, pricing. Propose addition/removal of products from portfolio.
- Attend large scale farmer meetings / associations and promote AgroStar product solutions and brand.
- Plan Marketing activities like Trade Fairs, Mela, SMS campaign, Road shows or any other such activities in co-ordination with Marketing Team.
- Schedule monthly/regular meetings with Team to review challenges and plan ahead.
- Develop, coach and review Individual development plans for TMs
- Play pivotal role in management and field teams to highlight team's efforts and create balance between organizational and individual targets.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Experience : 12-15 years with Agriculture Industry, Agri Inputs
Qualification : M.Sc/B.Sc with MBA in Operations/ Management.
Technical Skill Set :
- Budgeting experience and financial competence.
- Excellent Market and Competitor knowledge.
- Demonstrates impeccable Business Acumen.

- Must be data-driven, and should have the capability to lead from the front.
