AGM - Technology Procurement - Telecom

Role purpose: The role reports to the GM - Procurement and will be responsible for all Technical Procurement. The role is responsible to Procure and negotiate most optimal deals to support business plans in the following areas.

- Setup Box Procurement

- Outdoor Unit Material (ODU) incl Dish, Cables, Connectors

- MDU Materials and accessories incl Dish, Cables, Connectors, switches, splitters etc..

- Tools & Test Equipments

- DTH Consumables

- Other Miscellaneous products used in the DTH Industry

- Forecast & Demand Planning

- Document Management

- MIS and Budget Tracking

Key account abilities:

- Vendor Evaluations, Negotiations and Finalization

- Deliver SCM strategies for the Technology Categories.

- Manage excellent relationship with user teams and suppliers with strong governance and performance management..

- Use Various Supply Chain Modelling including best Practices across relevant sectors

- Collaborate and compete with stake holders effectively for maximizing cash flow and working at optimum commercials

- Market Intelligence incl Purchase analysis.

- AOP

Key performance indicators :

- Delivery of the Savings Targets as per set KPIs

- Operational Excellence

- Supplier relationship management & Supplier performance Management.

- Contract Management

- End to End Vendor Life cycle management.

- Process Compliance

- Demand Planning - Consumption Vs Sales Forecast

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

- Strong SCM professional background with good negotiation skillsets.

- Experience in managing large strategic partners

- Robust leader ship and innovative thinking.

- Person should be self-starter and should be able to take decision and manage conflicts

- Experience in managing Supplier relationship management.

- Well versed with SAP and MM Module.

- Preferably a six sigma expert

Must have technical / professional qualifications:

- Strong commercial background with minimum 12 + years experience in the SCM vertical..

- 3+years of national experience in procurement of similar products in a large organisation.

- Bachelors degree with MBA preferred.

- Good communication skillsets
