AGM/State HR Head - Industrial Relations/Employee Relations - Media

Salary offered: 12 - 17 LPA

Role : AGM - HR/IR/ER (initially based at Bhopal - Succession Planning position)

State Head - HR Roles and responsibilities :

- Person should be heading HR for his respective location/unit/company for a complex employee base of 1000-2000 people (complex employee base like we have a employee mix of sales + editorial + production + circulation + support in a 24- 7 environment.

- All departments have a different kind of challenge. Doesn't mean that the candidate necessarily comes from a 24- 7 environment but must have handled various departments).

- IR exp is must (past exp in IR is also OK)

Ideal combination : Earlier Manufacturing + currently Services

Preference :

- Male Candidates

- Willingness for any location

- The selected candidate will join us at Bhopal & will work on Special Projects for approx 0-1 year. Post this tenure, he'll be allocated a State HR Head role at any of the existing State HO locations,

State HR Locations :

While on Special Projects in Bhopal, the role will be that of an Individual contributor & as a State HR Head will have a team size of 10-20 people in the State. Needless to say, relocation of family will be must.

Role & Responsibilities as State HR Head :

- Talent Acquisition

- Performance Management & Talent Management

- Employee Engagement & Retention

- Compliances, Legal, MIS, Payroll, etc.

- Admin function-Supervising

Please check on below parameters :

- How many employees on rolls & others. Are these employees in multiple locations or one, For e.g. for us in one state i.e. Rajasthan, the number of office locations is approx 50.

IR Experience : our need is disciplinary cases, litigations, conciliation cases, compliances

- We are looking for somebody with good HR Head exp at one or multiple locations. If the candidate is reporting to Plant HR Head, pls reject.
