Position : ASSISTANT GENERAL MGR – INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Direct superiors : Regional CEO, Dotted…Corporate VP-IS

Subordinates : Regional IS Team

JOB SPECIFICATION :

- Required Education Level : Post Graduate

- Required Experience: 8 years of IT related experience with 5 years on Retail industry

- Required abilities, skills and knowledge : Team Management, good IT and Retail domain knowledge, Strong on MS SQL Database skills, ITIL certification

- Required Training before starting the job: Business Orientation and ITIL training if does not have the certification

- Salary Range – open but under 11 lacs pa

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Objective of the Position : To provide IS enabled services in given timelines for smooth operations

- Strategic : Follow and adopt to Global IS Strategy

- Managerial: To lead and manage the team to achieve the set objectives and SLA’s.

Operational:

- Work closely with the business and our service partners, to ensure quality delivery and continuous availability of all IS services

- Work closely with the business to understand the business process requirements, will be responsible to accurately record and translate the needs of the business into language and terminology easily understood by both the IS and business communities

- Manage business as usual (BAU) budget for relevant service partners

- Support the project managers for a new project design and implementation and deliver within agreed quality, cost and deadline.

- Work Closely with Global Business Process Improvement team on potential business/process improvements

Key Result Areas :

Deliver efficient and compliant services:

- Deliver business & infrastructure services using transparent costing

- Reliable, accurate, standard and cost effective business services (new and existing)

Financial Management :

- Manage BAU Budget

- Manage local infrastructure project budgets

They will lead to :

- Gather the detailed business requirements and how the business operates.

- Identification, understanding and analysis of the process, information and data and functional requirements particularly to identify commonality and variances.

- Support the definition of the process, information and data solution

- To ensure 100% uptime and availability of the system for all business transactions

- To ensure SLA’s are maintained and recorded

- To ensure Global IS policies and procedures are followed and are SOX compliant

- Organize and monitor continuous training to system users on all the business applications and end user IT systems
