AGM/GM - Corporate Finance

I am currently working on a requirement with one of my top prestigious client for the role of AGM/GM Corporate finance. Mentioned below is the brief spec for the requirement

Location: Chennai

Experience: 8 - 18 yrs

This is a middle management position responsible for completely owing and driving the corporate finance department, actively managing and overseeing deliverables including but not limited to:

- Monthly financial reporting and MIS

- Pricing and proposals

- Project reviews

- Costing, Budgeting

- Treasury and Forex

- Taxation / International taxation

- Compliance with accepted financial standards and company policies

- Manage, develop and maintain all financial internal controls

Assist the Associate Director (Finance) in hiring, developing and constantly engaging the members of the Finance team

- Lead by example and provide timely coaching and mentoring to the team members during their day to day work

- Identify ways to reward and recognize performance within the team and foster a high performance work culture

- Practise the company’s core values in daily leadership style – Meritocracy, Excellence, Respect, Innovation and Teamwork

- Establish processes and controls to de-risk, manage knowledge and build scalability within the finance and accounting team

Candidate should be:

- Must be a qualified Chartered Accountant

- 7-18 years of overall experience with atleast 3-5 years in a financial leadership role

- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting tools/software

- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Powerpoint)

- Prior exposure to working in companies with US clients will be preferable, although not mandatory
