AGM/GM/AVP/Head - Learning & Development - Internet/Online - IIM/XLRI/TISS (14-20 yrs)
The Head - Learning & Development is responsible for creating L& D framework and strategy for the organization. Design & implement training programs, overseeing the development of careers, setting performance metrics, evaluating productivity, and helping associates create long-term development plans within the organization.
- Lay down the skill requirements for each job position in the company in the area of both Behavioral and Functional skills
- Design overall L & D strategy and learning framework for different levels in the hierarchy
- Develop course curriculum and design program content for skill enhancement
- Set up an in house training facility and infrastructure for classroom training, e-learning, online modes etc..
- Set up systems and processes for Training need identification of ongoing learning requirements determine gaps or skill enhancement sessions on a regular basis
- Promote the culture of self motivated learning in the organization
- Set up the culture or Train the Trainer to have a multiplier effect and speedier implementation of the training programmes.
- Tie up with education institutes and independent network of external trainers for ongoing training by specialists where required.
- Plan and conduct Training Effectiveness and Cost benefit analysis to continuously monitor Training Effectiveness.
- Set up an employee training dashboard with regular MIS and reports
- Strong presentation skills with a passion for Training
- Strong interpersonal, articulation, written and oral communication skills
- Knowledge of Behavioural Training & Technology based Learning tools
- Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods, approaches and departmental contributions while being cost sensitive. Commitment to continuous learning.
- Ability to motivate, impart learning and work with associates at all levels
- Ability to channelize internal and external resources for training and development
- Regular Management reporting and metrics
Graduate in any discipline and MBA HR from one of the premier schools, with minimum 14 years of professional experience in Human Resource Management and a minimum of 5 years experience in L&D.
