- Candidate will be handling a team of 100+, Team Management Mandate
- We are looking for a AGM - Procurement with our client with a global presence based at Mumbai.
Pls note Job Stability will be the foremost screening criterion. Relocation / Interview expenses will not be borne by the client.
JD :
Job Location : Thane
Reporting to : DGM - Admin
Industry : BPO
Education : Graduate
Experience : 5+years in Procurement with adequate knowledge and exposure to global procurement and agreement framework
CTC : 12 L - 15 L ( incl 10%)
Working Conditions : 11 AM - 8 PM, 5 days
Technical Skills : Working knowledge of employment laws, safety compliance
Routine :
- Procurement management is certainly a busy and varied career where one will never be sitting twiddling thumbs. Acting like a human octopus across the business, procurement managers can expect to find themselves getting involved in a number tasks that are critical for both the profits and the development of the company they work for.
Tasks can include :
- Getting goods and services for the best price and value
- Cutting any waste and unnecessary costs to create a streamlined process and fast production times
- Working with suppliers to ensure that key processes are running efficiently and cost-effectively
- Building strong working relationships both internally and with key suppliers
- Contract management and negotiation
- Understanding and keeping up with new trends and regulations in the business
- Dealing with international suppliers
- Understanding technology and managing online systems such as e-auctions and e- tendering
- Knowledge of non IT services, supplies, global market trends and currencies
- Good interpersonal and negotiations skills
- Knowledge and hands-on on SAP
Team Management :
- Build effective vertical and horizontal communication channels
- Provide efficient leadership to the team
- Be a role-model for the Team in terms of performance/ behavior/ attitude
- Formulate long term plans for the development and motivation of the team
- Groom and mentor subordinates in handing more responsibility
- Provide efficient leadership to the team
- To be a role-model for the Team in terms of performance/ behavior/ attitude
- Responsible for motivating the team, feedback and counseling
- Groom and mentor team members to handle more responsibility
Conflict Resolution :
- To be accessible when a user department/vendor has a grievance that can be resolved by Procurement
- Conduct timely meetings to ensure open communication and devise an action plan to address issues/ concerns raised.
- Need-based escalation of decisions and ensure proper follow-up of the same
