Job Title : A.G.M/ D.G.M Warehousing  Supervised by Supervises :   - Director Logistics No. Job Title Grade  - Unit Managers   - Shift Manager   - Supervisors   - Data Entry Operators - WMS & OTM   Basic Function and Principles :   - Plans, organizes and controls overall warehouse operations viz., Inbound, Outbound, Inventory Control, Distribution, warehouse space optimization and promotion packaging.  - Actively participates in cost optimization programs by providing detailed inputs on areas where cost control can be exercised.  - Has a sense of quality and implements quality warehousing practices in accordance to global warehousing standards and to logistics SOP manual.  Perspective :  Roles and Responsibilities :   Financial :   - Implement cost reduction strategies as guided by superiors from time to time and continuously be on a lookout to explore new avenues where cost reduction/optimization becomes possible.  - Ensure warehouse equipment and machinery is taken care of with maximum professional integrity; ensure all assets are maintained at periodical intervals.  - Maximize ORACLE system in all day-to-day activity ensuring 100% integrity of system to actual stock quantities, expiry and bin location.  - Consistently monitor space utilization levels of warehouse and maintain optimized usage of space at all times.  Customers :   - Offer a high level of support to peer departments to achieve company wide KPI results.  - Identify areas of improvements and develop plans to rectify shortfalls to provide ultimate service levels to various departments as demanded.  - Ensure reporting of slow/non moving inventories to PPIC department to clear up obsolete inventories; thus provide freshness of stock to buyers.  - Monitor fill rate to buyers; ensure to supply all stocks that is ordered by marketing department without fail.  Internal Process :  - Ensure 100% compliance of warehouse operations to warehousing SOP manual and practice SOP with all warehouse team members.  - Ensure workplace hygiene & safety practices are implemented in line with HACCP manual.  - Promote constant team spirit amongst warehouse staff so as to achieve highest scores of KPI for overall team members.  - Liaise with internal departments to ensure execution of warehouse activities as scheduled and fulfill of company's objectives.  - Consistently monitor performance indicator reports (lag reports), apprise superiors of required interventions to improvise logistics experience for external & internal customers.  - Monitor warehouse maintenance requirements, coordinate with maintenance department and ensure warehouse machinery, equipment's and assets are maintained up to date.  - Monitor performance of allocated staff, prepare monthly appraisal of each team member and provide feedback on performance lags continuously.  - Monitor self-work performance and achieve - 90% of KPI points for each month.  Learning & Growth - As a managing team member, be fully accountable for all decisions and actions taken by you to benefit the company.  - Constantly look out for improvement opportunities, be self-motivated to take such opportunities to realization.  - Show case a quality of ownership to all activities that come under your purview; thus bring to table a consistent storage improvement pattern.  - Be an Innovator of warehousing practices, ease workloads on staff while delivering higher throughput of warehousing infrastructure.  - Consistently prove that you are dependable for works allocated, consult with your superiors on new decision requirement while being self-dependent on decision making based on past experiences  - Very high growth prospect exist within warehousing department for star performers who achieve consistent scores of their KPI.  Other : Undertakes to mentor all of his staff, ensuring their growth within Allana group.  - Undertakes to accept newer responsibilities and comply with his superiors instructions.  Competencies and Skills :   - Demonstrable leadership skills.  - Medium level user of MS Office package with excellent understanding of reports.  - Excellent problem solving skills; should be analytical, tactical and strategic.  - ERP/ORACLE knowledge will be an added advantage.
