Job description of senior-level Purchase personnel

Location:- Sahibabad Plant

Position : AGM/DGM

Preferable age : 35- 40 yrs

Qualifications : Engineering Graduate( Mech/Electrical) from a Premier institute & those having Diploma/Degree in Materials management or MBA or equivalent

Qualifications will be given preference.

Experience : 12-18 yrs out of which 5-6 yrs in a steel manufacturing plant at a senior level position for procurement of Mechanical/Electrical items. Working knowledge of SAP is essential. Those having higher experience and excellent academic the background can be considered for higher position

Job Profile :

- The person should be a strategic planner, cost-conscious and result oriented one with a proven track record of managing purchase function of a large manufacturing organization.

- He must possess excellent communication & negotiation skills, strong leadership qualities, team builder with knowledge of Government policies and regulations, provisions of various statutory Acts, International Codes and Standards.

- He shall be responsible for procurement of electrical and mechanical items, spares & consumables, packing material, chemicals and Stationery items.
