Seeking for a Marketing Manager to lead the marketing of its cutting edge solar solutions products and radically affordable pay-as-you-go pricing.

- Seeks a Marketing Manager to lead the design, delivery and development of marketing for its solar solutions and pay as you go pricing in rural India.

- The Marketing Manager has end-to-end responsibility for identifying opportunities and areas for marketing, creation of collaterals, developing marketing processes and building a marketing team.

Responsibilities :

Must possess a unique blend of business, design and technical savviness; a big-picture orientation, and the drive to make that vision a reality. As a marketing lead, you will work with end customers and sales channel to understand needs and opportunities to promote proposition in areas of operation.

The position will report to the VP Product, with key responsibilities including, but not limited to :

- End-to-end ownership of marketing vision and strategy

- Manage the entire marketing life cycle: defining the strategy, conceiving means and collaterals, design and working with cross-functional teams, particularly sales, through implementation

- Partner with product, sales and training teams to deliver marketing collaterals, campaigns and events as per road map and objectives and implement go-to-market strategy

- Build and lead a high-performing internal team to undertake research, business analysis and human-centered design

- Own end-to-end communications from scratch and ensuring that the communication is received and communicated in field exactly as intended design

- Design and implement promotion schemes for market acquisition

- Identify new channels for promotion and sales

- Design and manage focused field-based research, trials and pilot projects following Lean Startup methodology to validate key product hypotheses, rapidly test features and product packages, and gather customer insights

- Develop and share a deep understanding of customer needs and aspirations

- Recruit and manage interns, fellows and seconded professionals supporting the product line and sales function

- Drive execution of new product and pricing launches across the organization.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 12 to 15 years of prior experience in marketing management with at least 5 years of experience in rural marketing

- Proven track record of leading the brands and product lines from concept to launch in the consumer electronics or renewable energy industries / FMCG / consumer durables

- Experience with human centered design, and Lean Startup methodologies

- Demonstrated understanding and experience developing solutions for base of the pyramid consumers in emerging markets

- Experience conducting focus groups, usability studies, and market research to validate product requirements and design decisions

- Must possess project management skills with extreme attention to detail

- Excels at working in ambiguous situations and comfort within fast-moving entrepreneurial organizations

- Cross-functional leadership and proven execution experience

- Strong blend of analytical, decision-making and creative problem solving skills
