Leading agri startup that is transforming the life of farmers. They are in the agri machinery services space that is disrupting the way farming happens in India.

The Market Development lead will be responsible for the entire sales and marketing function for the region and also building the entire ecosystem of agents that can work in each village/town to represent the company. The person will be responsible for selecting the agents and putting process and frameworks to make them successful.

You need to be able to work both strategically and hands on. The role requires someone with the ability to take independent responsibility and deliver.

This role requires extensive on the the field travel so apply only if you are okay to travel most of the month to small towns and villages in Rajasthan.

The role will include:

Achievements of sales targets - Average, Revenue, Collections.

Establish sales network, cost of sales (cost of sales agent), and quality of sales, imports profitability shared impact.

- Define criteria for identification of agent's selection.

- Define process for onboarding agents.

- Ensure quality of acquisition efforts through quality checks, observations and customer interactions.

- Develop schemes to motivate Agents and farmers.

Ensure collections are within targets

Ensure key parameters & reporting

Managing, motivating and engaging with the team

Develop new acquisition and partnership opportunities around existing areas

Its a very interesting role but requires you to be on the field most of the time and interact with the local communities and farmers in Rajasthan

Required experience:

- 8 - 12 years of relevant experience in the field of channel and business development and sales in agri input sector.
