Primary Purpose : Would be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of Quality and Process Excellence function, strategizing and leading all process improvement initiatives for client processes and ensuring that all functional deliverables to internal and external customers are met

Key Job outcomes :

Change planning and Process Improvement :

- Change planning and management for deployment of re-designed processes and best practices for large teams without reporting relationship.

- Bench-marking processes, Management dashboard set up & building the best practices repository.

- Leverage business optimization & innovation tools & application for process re-engineering

- Execute internal projects working with dispersed cross functional teams on organizational process (re) design or industry specific business processes

- Ensure Positive contribution to the company's Gross margins and Operating margins

- Recommend new/ improvements to delivery models

- Identify and ensure implementation automation projects, process improvements and cost optimization opportunities

- Support maintenance of World Class Delivery standards

- Create reports for COO, Functional heads and OPM

- Monitor dashboards and issues for early warning signals and trends

- Support for RFP, RFI, Sales Collaterals

- Value stream Mapping/ Process mapping

- Understand AS-IS state of a process, prepare flow charts, fish bone diagrams etc.

- Work on process excellence to eliminate Non Value Added (NVA) activities and process enhancement by applying tools and techniques of Six Sigma and Lean Sigma

- Execution of process excellence projects identified by using the right Project Management tools and methods

- Implement changes in the process together with business owners

- Period audit of processes to give assurance that processes are as per set standards

- Ensure Certification of the team and larger audience for various certification programs of Six Sigma

- Assist in documentation of mapping end to end cross functional processes to identify flow of information & work

- Prioritize projects on the basis of financial impact

- Identify gaps, loose ends, bottle neck, wastes within the process

- Independently manage improvement projects (Lean / DMAIC) in various functions

- Must lead process improvement / transformation program with significant savings

- Identifying roadmap of process improvement for the division

- Participate in project management reviews & provide independent assessment of project's quality related performance

- Check effectiveness of release reviews & closure status of non-conformance from reviews & audits, root cause analysis & implementation of corrective & preventive actions

- Ensure Project delivers against business objectives

- Culture Building & Team Management :

- Drive the Six Sigma culture and initiative across the organization with commitment, passion and persistence

- Coach/consult executive management in creating proper infrastructure for successful deployment and support

- Facilitating workshops, remote groups and leading process diagnostic for articulation of process issues and solution formulation

- Deliver trainings in order to drive excellence, Quality methodologies, tools and techniques required for Process Excellence

- Provide strategic direction to the team on all aspects of the business

- Facilitate & drive Six Sigma quality culture in the organization

- Guide candidates with project selection and scope, assuring linkage between projects and business and partner priorities

- Collaborate well with onshore quality & operations teams

- Lead/ participate in Six Sigma and Lean projects and other (ARM grid) trainings

- Identify and Mentor Six Sigma and Lean projects

- Mentor Green / Black Belt Trainees

- Support/ Enable change management ensuing from the projects

- Conduct process improvement methodology trainings when required

- Plan project & monitor its overall progress and circulate dashboards on a regular frequency

- Train / Mentor leadership on quality tools and concepts and mentor GBs and BBs

- Demonstrate advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls, and related standards.

- Ability to drive change in a division, interfacing with Operations Process Managers and Senior Process Managers

- Support PEX transformation partner and coaches in conducting Kaizen belt training and post training coaching

- Support the PEX transformation partner on piloting concepts, creating standards and practices

- Conduct employee training to instill PEX practices at the front line

- Manages PEX communication and connects through Promos, Newsletter, PEX Grand prix, PEX day etc.

- Acts as a role model and coach regarding the use of PEX tools, methodology and application in the process

Stakeholder Management :

- Handle escalations for external and internal stakeholders

- Participate in various meetings as part of the profile

- Should work independently with the client and lead Process Re-engineering, Efficiency improvements

Work Relations :

Internal :

- Reporting to Manager - PEX for all functional as well as admin issues.

- Interfacing with all service level heads and managers based out of India as well as other global offices. (24 X 7 work environment).

- Interfacing with Business development, Pre Sales, WFM, HR finance, administration team members and software development teams of for all functional as well as operational issues.

- Interfacing with global production and quality teams spread across various time zones.

External :

- Interface with potential and existing vendors and channel partners (minimal)

Experience :

- Minimum 5-7 years of total work experience with at least 3 years of relevant in ITES / KPO and consulting / service sector

- Must have mentored at least 4-5 GB / BB projects

- Six Sigma Black belt trained or certified from a reputed Institute institute/ company.

- People management experience

Expected Competencies :

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Good analytical skills and data mining abilities

- Should be comfortable with Minitab, Advanced MS Excel tools and reporting

- Experience in planning and conducting Internal Audits and adhering to the compliance framework would be an added advantage

- Experience in transitioning projects is an advantage

- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision

- Experience in Healthcare domain is an added advantage
