Advanced Analytics Role - Insurance Domain - IIM/IIT/BITS/ISB/MDI/FMS

Advanced Analytics :

- The ideal candidate would be adept at understanding customer's business challenges and define appropriate analytics approach to design solution

- The ideal candidate should be able to think from first principles to define and come up with solutions for any business problem

- This is a hands-on role and will be required to manage day to day delivery activities and guide the team in executing analytics projects by analyzing large volume of data

- Ideal candidate should have hands on experience using Machine Learning Techniques

- He / She would be responsible for creating Presentations, reports etc to present the analysis findings to the end clients

- This role requires excellent communication skills. Additionally should possess the ability to confidently socialize business recommendations and enable customer organization to execute such recommendations.

Technical Experience :

- Hands on experience in developing models (end to end)

- Multiple linear regression

- Logistic regression

- Time series forecasting using ARIMA/ARIMAX

- Clustering

- Decision Tree

- Random Forest

- Support Vector Machine

- Na- ve Bayes

- Gradient Boosting Machine

Tools :

- R, Python, SQL, SAS

- Experience processing large amount of data using BigData technologies is preferred

- Advanced knowledge of Excel and VBA

- Knowledge of any of the visualization tools like Tableau, Spotfire, QlikView,R Shiny etc. is a plus

- Functional/Domain Experience :

- Good exposure to BFSI domain especially insurance

- Certifications/Analytics competitions

- Recognized certifications in analytics technologies

- Participation/solving Kaggle competitions

Educational Qualification :

- Masters in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/Econometrics from Tier 1 institutions Or BE/B-Tech, MCA or MBA from Tier 1 institutions

Relevant Experience :

- 3 - 10 years of hands on experience in executing analytics projects

- Communication Skills

- Very strong written and verbal communication

- Ability to ask right questions
