Consumer Insights & Brand Development Cell:

The Consumer Insights and Brand Development Cell's mandate is to accelerate revenue growth profitably for the Group’s businesses, product and service innovation based on supporting them to further enhance their insight into their consumers and their ability to develop strong brands. The cell works on strengthening the efforts of various businesses in this area and on exploring possible synergies. It endeavors to promote a customer and market-driven approach, becoming integral to the business planning process, the deployment of relevant, “cutting-edge” marketing tools and the alignment of product and service brands with the Group’s overall brand promise

Principle Accountability:

Developing and sustaining a World class Marketing Toolkit available and used extensively for all our Businesses:

- Developing the marketing frame work for each business and understanding overlaps and differences between them

- Identifying the ideal process that supports these frameworks.

- Identifying world class partners for design/develop and embedded relevant process/tools

Establishing relevant marketing principles and processes in the businesses along with the CMOs:

- Ensure awareness of key market principles and processes among marketing community and others involved in customer development.

- Embedded knowledge and skills to use the relevant marketing process in the tool-kit to achieve business marketing objectives.

Developing marketing competency across all Marketing and non-Marketing functions:

- Identifying competency gaps along with each CMO’s/Business/Business Leaders.

- Identifying best-in-class partners to work on filling these gaps; designing and continuously updating the competency building program and ensuring outstanding execution of the same.

Measuring Success and adapting the program:

- Creating metrics for measuring Marketing excellence, evaluating progress against the same and adapting the program accordingly

Qualification: MBA Finance/Marketing
