1) Job Purpose  To work closely with the AV Birla group as a whole and support the various consumer facing businesses in their brand development work to achieve  - Better Understanding of Consumer Wants & Needs  - Stronger Consumer Connect  - Better Competitive Positions & thereby win market share & profitability  Accountability  Business Leadership  Execute initiatives to improve Sales & Marketing function of targeted Businesses   - Understand Business's need for improvement and drive, with help of team leader, specific initiatives to improve their capability.  - To help marketing teams define requirements and support through advice and active participation   Project leadership  To execute projects to ensure they are implemented as per plan  - To plan Project related activities and ensure they are executed as per plan.  - Interact and engage with stakeholders to ensure they contribute as per the plan  - Manage interactions with external agencies on a day-to-day basis with the advice of the team leader  Brand Development   To support the brand development projects across business.  - Good understanding of consumer and branding fundamentals  - Develop /help create brand planning frameworks  - Ensure an archive of all brand development projects and such related work is maintained at a central repository, capturing learnings for future use & easy retrieval.
