Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization :

- This role is responsible to maximize the profitability of the stores by ensuring the Global Franchise visual merchandising strategy and road map is cascaded to all stores and implemented efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead a team of Visual Merchandisers to implement the Global Franchise visual merchandising standards and guidelines in all store concepts and formats within the Market.

- Ensure all stores comply with Global standards and guidelines and provide a leading shopping experience for all customers.

- Coach and develop Visual Merchandisers to ensure high quality visual merchandising performance.

- Identify and communicate Market needs and best practices to the Sr. Retail Director .

- Set up and implement a store visit plan for the Visual Merchandisers ensuring that all stores are visited regularly and additional focus is given to high profile stores in the Market.

- Take the lead on ensuring all Store Managers and in store visual merchandisers are trained on the Global Franchise Merchandising standards and Guidelines.

- Keep up-to-date on competitor analysis as well as current and upcoming fashion trends across the Market. Work with the Global brand team to provide locally applicable tactical solutions to competitor actions.

- Ensure all expenditure is in line with the Market Visual Merchandising budget and notify the Sr. Retail Director of any risks or discrepancies.

- Ensure all windows are displayed in line with specified marketing calendar/campaigns and comply with window guidelines. Ensure these are presented to a high standard, including window stickers, graphics and mannequins.

- Define organizational structure, set objectives, and manage workloads and results to achieve goals while adopting best practices and achieving continuous process improvement

- Ensure high employee engagement at every level through effective motivation, coaching, training, and development of personnel in the team

Market Retail team including :

- Retail Back Office (RBO) team (within both Lead and Multi functional Markets)

- Multi-Store Managers

- Store Managers and their Store teams

- In-Store Visual Merchandisers

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Functional :

- 10-12 years in sales and/or Marketing, ideally with retail focus Industry, ideally in apparel/fashion/shoes or FMCG

- Strong leadership skills, with a minimum of 4 years experience

- Advanced numeracy and literacy, with good IT skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Fluency in English and local language of Market HQ

- Excellent communication skills including impactful presentation skills, influencing and negotiating and change management

- Geographical mobility

- Exposure: Sports, Marketing, Account Marketing

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications : Specialized qualification in related field preferable from premier institute
