Adidas - Regional Manager - West (6-12 yrs)
Purpose/Mission :
- This role is responsible to drive the overall business objectives for the Franchise channel for west region India.
- The role would be responsible for Net sales target achievement, aligning partners to store expansion, consolidation and renovations.
- It involves high levels of engagement in franchise partner management and best in class execution in retail operations for the region.
- One of the key deliverables of this role is to grow store KPIs, people and space productivity and overall channel growth.
Key Responsibilities :
Functional :
- The role shall be responsible for achieving Net Sales (WSP) and Retail sales targets for the Franchise channel, including objectives of endless aisle.
- Manage and drive commercial and sales operations to support franchise channel
- To develop the overall strategy for the Franchise account portfolio based on country strategy jointly with the National Franchise Manager and other stakeholders.
- Drive excellence in retail operations and achieve productivity and service objectives for adidas and Reebok stores
- Implement / Support and ensure success of retail excellence programs such as Endless Aisle, Arena, Aspire incentive programs, Model store roll out and store aRMS.
- To ensure the Franchisees are applying available adidas Group standards and best practices and recommendations.
- To support enforcement of adidas Group Trade Terms Policy and Agreement with Franchisees
- To recommend to key Franchisees an appropriate organizational framework / operational structure for the Franchise organization jointly with National Franchise Manager
- Evaluate & drive store partner wise profitability in conjunction with the Finance team on a regular basis
- Drive store portfolio development in collaboration with Real Estate team through excellent Planning & detailing
- Ensure that store renovations, relocations, closures objectives are achieved
- Implement instore guidelines and programs from Brand/ Visual merchandising / Training / Store Development for better store management and brand presentation.
- Collaborate with the Brand teams to co-create and roll out high impact retail marketing program and consumer promotions to drive footfalls and sales
- Map and report competition activity
Personnel :
- Set team objectives, targets, guidelines and review /assess all reports
- Develop the attitudinal, functional and social skills of direct reports on and off the job
- Manage all reports as an integrated team by setting team objectives, targets and guidelines
- Ensure smooth cooperation of all direct reports along all interfaces
Controlling :
- To lead and drive performance from all the DRs
- To measure progress on own KPIs
- To report to all superiors
- To monitor all reports
- To monitor and report on customers and competitors sell-through and activities, and propose/initiate/take actions
- To provide realistic plans and forecasts on customers performances
Professional background :
Functional :
- 06 -10 years of relevant Retail/Sales/Marketing out of which min 3-4 years in Leadership roles, managing retail team of 06 -12 plus managers cluster managers, in at least 1 large region of the country in the capacity of a Regional manager / Marketing Manager / Sales manager
Industry : ideally from Fashion and Lifestyle Retail /FMCG.
Leadership : - 4 years experience
Exposure : Franchise Retail, Brands, Supply Chain
Other skills : Negotiation Skills, People management, Commercial Acumen
Educational Background :
- University degree in business with marketing and sales focus
