Adani - Sr Manager/DGM - IT PMO & Projects

Job Purpose:

- In the interim, program manage the transformation of IT services by the IT Outsourcing (ITO) partner

- Plan projects, govern and ensure project delivery by ITO partner in time, budget and scope

- Identify cross project dependencies / risks, ensure mitigation plans are in place

- Manage SI projects and liaison with BPT teams

- Program manage corporate IT initiatives and those cutting across multiple BUs

- Provide expertise & guidance on project management frameworks, processes, and tools

Key Accountabilities:

- Validate project timeline, schedules, work plans, and cost estimates/ projections prepared by the IT service partner

- Prioritize action plans by accounting for need, estimating risk, and determining feasibility from technical, organizational, and financial perspectives

- Monitor vendors execution of project(s) to ensure that deliverables are on time, on budget, and in accordance with the SLA

- Create and circulate periodic progress reports for projects, highlighting key issues and decisions required

- Ensure deliverables are compliant with the IT Architecture & Standards (involve Adani IT architecture team as required)

- Identify and manage risks; collaborate with vendors to establish plans to mitigate risks and identify improvements in project development

- Identify sourcing requirements from projects (e.g. BOM, technical specifications of requirement) and provide inputs to commercials team

- Monitor and approve vendors’ testing of project deliverables to ensure high quality delivery meeting business requirements

- Sign-off on project milestones and manage knowledge transfer activities

- Ensure all project related knowledge and experience (e.g. design documents) are documented and shared across Adani

- Develop a strong transformation plan and establish transformation procedures with support from the ITO partner

- Program manage the overall transformation of Applications Outsourcing and Infrastructure Outsourcing services by the ITO partner(s)

- During the transformation phase, interact continuously with Head, Outsourcing & Infrastructure to ensure transition to steady state operations at the earliest

- Work closely with Head, Apps & Systems Integration, SPMO and Group CIO to manage interdependences between ITO and SI and ITO and other BPT initiatives

- Identify synergies across group IT initiatives with assistance from Infra and Apps governance heads and highlight them to the CIO council

- Program manage major Group wide IT programs/ projects

- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics for Group IT to be tracked and reported on a regular basis
