Acxiom Technologies - Practice Head - Risk

Areas of Experience: Market Risk, Credit Risk, ALM/FTP, Basel I/II/III, IFRS9

Required Qualifications: Bachelors in Technology (B.Tech) and Masters in Business Administration (MBA) - Finance / Chartered Accountant (CA) / Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)

Desired Qualifications: FRM (Financial Risk Manager) by GARP, PRMIA certification are preferred

A suitable candidate would have solid experience in Risk Management (Technology) with a vendor or consulting background.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

- Provide thought leadership on risk modelling and technology for the banking industry.

- Provide technical expertise and domain knowledge to the team on risk management principles.

- Works and collaborates with the team on consulting projects and special projects on implementation on Risk products, as assigned.

- Understands, utilizes and communicates best practice methodologies and industry standards internally and externally.

- As a lead for Risk projects; effectively oversee delivery of the solution, production of the deliverables and coach / develop team members.

- Present design/solution/application to the client, as appropriate, throughout the project lifecycle.

- Bring industry knowledge for risk intelligence and modeling.

- Analyze client's functional requirements converting them into effective solution designs.

- Develop and present strategies and roadmaps for clients and prospects in the area of risk intelligence

Other Skills and Competencies:

- Have specialized knowledge in Finance and Risk Management in one more current regulations such as Basel CRD-IV, EBA Stress-testing and the new IFRS9 Accounting Standard for banking.

- Has hands-on experience in solution implementation, configuration and/or development.

- Proven experience of Managing / leading large risk projects in banking sector.

- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.

- Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders including Risk, Finance and IT functions.
