Actuarial Business Planning Role - BFS

The candidate should:

- Have completed at least 5 actuarial papers (including CT5 preferred) and making rapid exam progress;

- possess strong understanding of general actuarial principles (understanding of financials preferred);

- possess good working knowledge of actuarial software - Prophet-, MS Office and VBA (preferable);

- be proactive at work, with non-satiating tendency to learn and excel;

- be comfortable in coding/building models and their documentation;

- possess good verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills (preferable).

The most significant challenges of the role will be:

1. Understanding core actuarial principles underlying the requirement of the job and accordingly deliver results within agreed timelines.

2. Developing or modifying Prophet, Excel and DCS models with good coding practices and ensuring that the models are neat, optimal, easy to understand and adequately documented.

3. Deliver all the information timely, supported with adequate checks / audit trails (with necessary documentation) for regional, regulatory and internal reporting.

4. Ability to interact/communicate with stakeholders/colleagues from a wide variety of backgrounds.
