Position in Life Insurance In Pune

Environment

The missions of the Risk Management fully enroll in the heart of the new solvency standard of insurance companies (Solvency 2). Its core missions include among others:

- Monitoring and aggregation of the risks borne- computation of the economic capital

- Analyses and forecast of the risk indicators

- Definition and implementation of processes able to limit the risks

- Controlling new investments and new products

Within the Model and Valuation team, notably:

- To calculate the BEL (Best Estimate Liabilities) standing for technical provisions in the new standard and the STEC (Short Term Economic Capital), the economic capital internal model (guaranteeing the reliability of the results and analysis for all entities),

- to contribute to the approval of the within the scope internal model,

- to improve the internal model in Moses.

You will also participate to the previous actuarial accounting process:

- to calculate and control the amount of EEV, NBV and all the profitability indicators communicated to financial markets,

- to fulfil the calculation of PGG (- Provision Globale de Gestion- : statutory reserve concerning expenses).

- to determine Differed Acquisition Costs (DAC) in compliance with IFRS principles.

And you will work on profitability studies and statistical studies in order to determine portfolio behaviour patterns distributions.

Position requirements

- Professional and technical skills

Master's degree or equivalent dual diploma in finance, actuarial, mathematics, statistics or similar

Analytical skills / Ability to evolve in a complex and diverse technical environment

Fluent in English (both written and spoken)

- IT skills

Strong knowledge in SAS

Knowledge in Moses would be appreciate

- Interpersonal skills

Able to work in a team and also autonomously;

Customer oriented;

Results focused;

Curious, open minded
