Associate Program Manager - Governance  - Action for Collective Transformation (ACT) is an organization started by a group of socio-entrepreneurs from colleges like IIT, ISB and NIT. It collaborates with government, key decision makers and citizens to improve governance effectiveness by the use of cutting-edge technology, data and innovative ways of public engagement. Currently, it works with government and non-government organizations to improve their strategy, last mile delivery and monitoring of key developmental programs.  Some of the projects we are working on are :  Citizen Outreach Campaign : To reach out to the prospective beneficiaries of Government schemes and inform them about the benefits and procedure  Citizens Volunteer Network : To build a citizen-led volunteer network, to help build connect with the grass-root communities  Social Media Citizen Engagement : To create innovative ways of engaging the citizens of the state for a meaningful dialogue, seeking feedback and suggestions for various Government policies  - As an Associate Program Manager in ACT you will be leading specific modules in a project or vertical. We primarily have 4 functional areas viz Data and Analytics, Social and Traditional Media Marketing, Research and Communication and Field Operations. The projects we do are large-scale, involving various stakeholders and with operational complexities.   Project Planning :  - Understand project objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion in conjunction with the Program Manager   Project Execution :  - Carry out project activities assigned by Program Manager and provide regular status updates on project related activities   - Coordinate with external partners including vendors (suppliers & contractors) and provide regular updates to the Program Manager Lead to ensure effective on ground delivery   - Identify potential project related issues and ensure timely escalation to the Program Manager. Provides suggestions and creative solutions to resolving these problems   We are ideally looking for candidates who are :  - Graduate/Post-Graduate with 1-4 years of related experience, preferably in start-up or consulting firm  - Good communication skills, MS Office Tools proficiency, analytical mindset  - Creative and someone who can easily connect with the public sentiments  - Street-smart, with a practical sense of what works on the field  - Willing to work for long hours in an extremely dynamic work environment
