The company is looking for an accounts and finance head to manage the accounting and finance departments of the company. The company has taken in venture capital investment and it needs a strong accounts/finance department to help with the growth and scaling of the business. We are a young company with 350 employees and 15 child care centers looking for a strong leader in the accounts department.

Location - Bangalore

Must have experience is Early Stage Retail

Responsibilities:

- Day-to-Day accounts and bookkeeping responsibility

- Manage the existing team of 4-5 accountants to get all transactions into the accounting system.

- Manage all accounts payable and receivables data

- Design and implement accounting policies and procedures

- Establish and maintain cash controls and manage cash flows

- Monthly Close and prepare income/balance sheets

- Assist the HR Department in preparation of salary sheets

- Manage the disbursement of salary, bonus and other employee compensations

- Liaison with banks and other financial institutions

- Management of Income Tax, TDS, FBT, Service Tax, Professional Tax

- Control of creditor/debtor accounts

- Manage and develop direct reporting staff

- Finalization and presentation of accounts

- Co-ordination with auditors / company secretary

- Center Accounting and Group Consolidation

- Financial Planning and Analysis

- Budgeting and variance analysis

- Cash flow forecast

- Financial Statements

- Ratio analysis

- Financial Dash Board
