Accounts Controller - CA - Microfinance Institution

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Position : Accounts Controller

Reporting to : CFO

Experience - Looking for CA with 12-15 years + years of work experience in NBFC/MFI industry.

Age group : 37-40

Direct Team Size : 3-4 people

Core Competency : Expertise into Accounts, Budgeting, Costing where the candidate will be responsible for Overall Accounting function.

Exposure to SAP or similar accounting systems is an added advantage

Exposure: Must have worked for at least 5 yrs. in a NBFC /MFI environment. Understanding of financial business is a must.

Job Description:

- Reporting and accounting

- Setting up robust internal processes & controls within the accounting function

- Preparing the budgets and working closely with higher management on review of such budgets on regular basis.

- Working with Auditors and putting internal controls in place.

- Candidate should possess sound knowledge of Financial Management and Analysis.

- Hands on experience of Accounts & Audit, Budgeting, Costing.

- Executed strategic cost control measures

- Ensuring that the regulatory requirements and compliance are in complied with relating to accounting practices

- Preparing consolidated balance sheets, profit and loss statements and cash flow statements, performed financial analysis.

- Manage accounting and consolidation of final accounts and preparing related detailed commentary and assigned Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
