We are hiring an Accounts Manager for a UK based MNC.  Job Description & Role Profile :   Title : Account Services Manager, ASM- management accounts.   Reports to : Senior Manager.   Location : Mumbai-Vikhroli  Salary : Upto 10 Lpa  Job purpose :   - Responsible for the management and development of a number of management accounting teams through which to deliver the defined Radius. management accounting services to the assigned external clients and internal customers.  - Manage and review all output from the teams which report to the ASM, ensuring a high standard of customer care and service and that all deliverables are achieved to the defined quality standard and on schedule. Adding value and insight to all output by applying advanced accounting and financial concepts skills.   - Identify and, once approved, implement process and service improvements.  - Be a point of contact for a portfolio of clients to provide a complete service to clients, focused on client satisfaction and quality within agreed time/cost budgets. Dependent upon the commercial needs of client, identify any additional services areas that could be offered by Radius.   Responsibilities and accountabilities :   - Complete awareness of and responsibility for all service deliverables for the assigned clients and the billing implications of all/any work completed.  - A full understanding of all relevant internal processes and procedure documentation.  - Complete familiarity with the use of all systems involved in completing the required work.  - Oversee the scheduling of all work to be completed by all teams as part of the defined standard client deliverables for the team clients portfolio to achieve quality standards and deadlines.  - Oversee the scheduling of any additional ad hoc work to be completed by all teams to achieve the required quality standards and deadlines.  - Ensure open communication within and between all teams through regular joint or individual meetings as required. Create a team based culture.  - Allocate work appropriately throughout all teams to achieve the most efficient and effective use of all available resources to complete all required work to achieve quality standards and deadlines.  - Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with local GAAP or any other local statutory reporting requirements as defined by the client.  - Ensure that any local reporting or filing requirements and local reconciliations relevant to the client are monitored and serviced appropriately.  - Working with international auditors to ensure that all audits are concluded within deadlines.  - Assist with internal audit programs.  - Liaising with clients to explain international and local accounting treatments and to provide ad hoc accounting advice.  - Liaising with CSD, company secretarial and tax to make them aware of any challenges with service performance to allow them to discuss with the client in advance of the delivery deadline, ensuring that complete service is offered to clients.  - Ensure accuracy and quality of the Radius service and information delivered to clients.  - Report client feedback on service quality and requests from the client for additional services to the senior manager and the CSD within 24 hours.  - Identify, suggest and on approval implement change initiatives to enable process improvement initiatives through individual accounts within the portfolio and share these with the senior manager.  - Work as a Subject Matter Expert and develop knowledge on cross functional subjects (e.g. VAT, Payroll tax and corporation tax).  - Demonstrate a proactive approach to client needs ensuring a sound support from the teams to new client setup and pickup of established clients  - Provide volume related metrics alongside staff utilization and forecasted changes to the senior manager to ensure the correct resources are available.  - Be flexible to take extra work to support team delivery and client satisfaction.  Management accounting and bookkeeping Experience :  - CA with minimum 5 years post qualification experience.  - Strong working knowledge of all systems and reporting required to complete the teams activities.  - Strong understanding of international accountancy standards, VAT laws and relevant GAAP.  - A strong understanding of exchange rates, FX trade and international business.
