Account Manager - IT Services (5-12 yrs)

The Employer is a mid-sized publicly-listed Indian IT Services company which offers a wide range of solutions including ERP Implementation, Application Development, Analytics, Cloud and Mobility Computing, Testing and Engineering Design Services to clients in US, Asia, Europe and India. The company has undergone a restructuring and transformation recently and is growing at close to 50% per annum.

It partners with leading global IT companies including Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAS and HP; is certified at CMMI Level 5 (v1.3) and ISO 9001:2008; and has won several awards and recognitions. For its Mumbai office, the company would like to bring on board a dynamic senior sales professional from the IT industry to join them as:

Position: Account Manager

Job Code: EXP/AM/IND-M/1114

Location: Mumbai/ Bangalore

Responsibilities:

- The selected candidate will build and sustain strong relations with existing customers assigned to him/her and develop new clientele.

Specific responsibilities include:

- New Client Acquisition: primarily in BFSI, Government, Healthcare, Transportation/Logistics, Education and Manufacturing & Distribution verticals. Focus areas would be Application Development, Maintenance, Testing, BI/DW, Mobility, ERP and Cloud Computing.

Relationship Management:

- Build and sustain long term relationships with key assigned customers

- Help devise strategies and action plans to pursue various opportunities in the account

- Coordinate with Executive Sponsor and Delivery Manager responsible for each account.

Requirements:

Ideal candidates will be business-savvy IT professionals with a background in acquiring and managing clients from different verticals.

They will have:

- A Diploma or Degree, preferably in Business, Engineering or Computer Sciences from a reputed institution

- At least 7 years of sales and account management experience in reputed IT Services companies with at least 5 years in Trading/Logistic companies.

- Should have led/delivered 2-3 large (100 FTE+) complex programmes using MS - NAV

- Strong track record in new client acquisition and account management

- Exposure to Software Development Life Cycle, Onshore/Offshore models and associated processes.

- Excellent client relationship management skills.

- Excellent Communication and Presentation skills.

- Fluency in English is essential.

- Entrepreneurial flair; Independent, self-driven and resourceful. High energy level.
