- A minimum of 1-4 years of progressive industry and/or consulting experience in the Financial Services sector post MBA  - Detailed understanding of a select vertical within the banking industry, along with products, channels, and key drivers. Candidate may have exposure to one/more of the following areas:  a) Credit cards  b) Liabilities products  c) Wealth management  d) Branch banking sales and operations  e) Customer portfolio management/cross-sell  f) Insurance sales and marketing  g) Online Sales Channels  - Experience creating and implementing sales and marketing strategies towards driving volumes and attaining higher profitability.   - Consulting or functional experience in Strategy and Business Planning for Financial Services practice, with focus on:  a) Product and market entry strategy  b) Sales strategy and operations  c) Marketing strategy  d) Sales compensation strategy and process (for both employees and channel)  e) Sales model design  f) Sales force effectiveness  g) Channel strategy and effectiveness  h) Partner relationship management  - Experience creating / revamping sales models in response to market requirements.   - Defining and Managing sales forecasts, experience tracking and communicating progress against the annual operating plan  - Experience managing Sales in a multi-channel / multi product / multi location set up.   - Experience working on a large-scale Business / Operational Transformation project desirable  - Experience managing an online sales channel for financial services products  - Strong analytical and logical skills.   - Strong program management skills  - Advanced user of excel, including macros.   - Experience with financial, market or organizational analytics, with additional experience focused on Sales Analytics.  - Experience working with C level executive clients  - Experience in or interaction with other geographies is desirable
