Functional Description :

- Accenture is engaged in an ongoing program of improving the way the Industry and Function Programs operate, to improve efficiencies, save cost, and bring innovation to clients faster.

- The Accenture Industries and Market Innovation (I&MI) team is part of Accenture Growth and Strategy.

Position Description : (Include scope of work, supervisory responsibilities, impact of role, etc.) :

Managing the team of two resources with a team and individual objective to help Life Science Industry (Research & Development Services) become more differentiated and effective in the market. We are looking for an entrepreneurial professional with a strong scientific background and business acumen.

Ensuring that the team is providing support to the activities of Accelerated Research & Development Business Unit in the following areas:

- Work closely with global stakeholders and accommodate work timings to fit the requirements of Business Service & Offering leads.

- Lead & provide the strategic intelligence support to enable strategy, marketing and sales teams build a robust strategy, an impactful marketing plan and targeted growth

- Work with Offering leads in identifying new customers, positioning of offerings as well as assembling the right content.

- Provide program management support/ Governance Structure to execute & monitor all ARDS initiatives.

- Establish stronger interlocks with other Accenture entities

- Sales Enablement/Origination management - track coverage of offerings to Diamond Clients; value propositions, positioning, internal/external sales decks etc.

- Business Sales operations - compile pipeline data and track/progress next actions on key opportunities and provide client teams with collateral from the sharepoint/ knowledge exchange

Skills or Professional Qualities required :

Basic Qualifications :

- MBA or equivalent experience

- Minimum 10 years of experience in Research & Development area or equivalent Life Sciences industry experience.

- Having Functional knowledge (not technical knowledge).

- Has prior Business side experience eg. Business Analysis and not from technology domain

- Past experience in a Pre-sales, Sales enablement, Offering Development and/ or Program Management role is a plus

Skills required :

- Ability to conduct Performance Management Assessment and Action Planning. Can estimate Level of Effort and Cost estimation

- Reporting - ability to consolidate data/information to update executive stakeholders

- Can work well autonomously. Doesn't need too much supervision i.e. 2-3 hours/wk connection is sufficient post the initial ramp up.

- Demonstrated comfort with numbers. Candidate will need to review market sizing efforts of research team, run NPV calculations on MDI requested etc.

- Strong understanding of MS Office Suite (especially Powerpoint and Excel)

- Strong English language, interpersonal and communication skills

- Project management skills

- Team management skills

Professional Skills Requirements :

- Ability to conceptualize and develop sales decks and offering materials based on available client decks, discussions with SMEs and direction from leadership

- Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills, and ability to understand complex industry issues and position solutions to address these

- Strong execution skills. Needs to track closely to and meet program milestones, while ensuring that quality is of the highest quality

- Ability to work closely with leadership in a dynamic, and fast-paced environment requiring the individual to manage simultaneously several tasks, while paying attention to detail and quality

- Ability/ experience in leading a team of 2-3. Will need to coach and mentor junior members in team and organize work efforts of own and other teams to ensure that milestones are met

- Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships at all organizational levels with internal stakeholders
