Summary - High level overview :

- CA equivalent qualification with at least 8 -10 years of relevant work experience

- Should have extensive exposure working in the accounting and finance dept at the entity level.

- Also should have managed a team of finance professionals

- Exposure to US GAAP or IFRS

- Good communication and interaction skills .very good team management skills . Good problem solving skills.

- Working knowledge of SAP other ERP systems preferable.

- Ability to deliver within tight deadlines

- Ability to manage multiple SPLs and Associate Managers and handle senior stakeholders

- Person will be responsible for maintaining the US GAAP books of accounts of the entity

- Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of the country's financial reporting and within fixed deadlines.

- Ensure that the Country s financial statements are complete accurate and meet all reporting requirements.

- Ensuring that the books are accurately closed on a monthly basis, ensure compliance with all the applicable company policies and procedures.

- Ensure adequate controls exist within each functional area and also compliance with SOX requirements.

- Responsible for team and individual performance productivity and continued improvements in value add and process controls

- Responsible for managing multiple functional areas in day to day controllership operations

- Supervise Specialists and Analysts

- Maintain a deep knowledge skills in accounting financial US GAAP and or internal controls

- Coordinate management review of service providers

- Perform monthly review of financial results pre close and post close

- Signing off on the month end period end P and L and Balance Sheet after ensuring that all the account reconciliations are appropriate and variances are explained.

- Review approve various journal entries adjusting entries

- Perform compliance reviews of various internal controls and procedures participation management of control reviews of key areas with financial impact

- Prepare internal management and status reporting

- Guide development of controllership personnel team specialists and analysts

- Responsible for special projects on an as needed basis including reviewing and evaluating complex specific accounting transactions treatment and providing requested support from other organizations within Accenture on significant accounting transactions and or business events

- Updation and maintenance of the SOPs.

- Reports to Accounting lead

- Supervises Accounting team consisting of Specialists and Analysts External Relationships

- Will need to work pro actively with the Business finance People Mobility CFM and Global Controllership.

- Working with different stakeholders across time zones
