Job Description:

The incumbent will be responsible for the overall supervision and management. A few of the defining attributes of the Assistant Financial Controller are his/her strong business acumen and leadership skills. The Assistant Financial Controller will also need to demonstrate solid experience in the maintenance of financial ledgers and accounting processes; payroll processes; preparation of budgets, forecasts, P&L and the timely production of statutory and internal financial report.

Responsibilities/Authorities:

Operational:

- Strong Experience in Management reporting and financial reporting

- Understanding of data analysis and forecasting

- Review and sign off all reconciliations in line with reconciliation policies & procedures

- Ensure compliance with Client's accounting policies

- Ensure Quality over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Review the company's accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances

- Perform high level review of both Balance Sheet and P&L for obvious errors, omissions, or inconsistencies

- Utilize accounting IT system to facilitate processes and maintain records

- Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software (e.g. SAP)

- Well-organized with ability to prioritize and mentor new hires.

- Very good communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational and methodical skills with the ability to multi-task

- Excellent Stakeholder management

- Attention to detail, service-mind oriented and discreet with confidential information along with problem-solving ability

Additional Skills :

- Own and drive various new initiatives

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
